IP blocks

Here you can find a list of IP blocks available from the foundries as well as designed within the community for radiation-tolerant applications.

Collaborative work relies on IP block sharing

We encourage institutes to contribute to the shared IP library and distribute their blocks with the community: please get in contact with asic.support@cern.ch. The original institute retains the ownership and the hosting of the IP, with CERN helping gather, version and distribute the IPs.

Getting access to IP blocks

  1. Sign the 3-way NDA for the relevant technology. Click here to request access.
  2. For CERN IPs and once for institute, sign the CERN EP-ESE Design Sharing Agreement.
  3. For all non-foundry hard IPs and once per IP, sign the EDA vendor Design Sharing Agreement.

Sharing IP blocks with others

  1. Check if the receiving institute has signed the 3-way NDA. See the list here.
  2. For all non-foundry hard IPs and once per IP, prepare the EDA vendor Design Sharing Agreement and request signature to the receiving institute.

Datasheet template

A common LaTex datasheet template can be downloaded clicking the button below. Please consider using this template to document the main information of your IP block in a uniform way. Of course, additional documents are welcome if needed.
